Milwaukee Foot Specialists welcomes our newest physician - Dr. Nate Sockrider! Dr. Sockrider welcomes new patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

Dr. Sockrider is an expert in conservative and surgical treatments of all ailments of the foot and ankle; from bunions, heel pain, and ingrown toenails, to fractures and tendon injuries. He has performed countless surgical procedures on the foot and ankle including diabetic limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, rheumatoid reconstruction, and trauma. Dr. Sockrider is also trained in the latest techniques of endoscopy and arthroscopy of the foot, ankle, and leg.
In addition, Dr. Sockrider specializes in biomechanics, orthotic therapy, and customized functional bracing for athletes as well as the non-athletic population. This type of treatment can be very effective in returning patients to their prior activity while avoiding surgery when possible. Dr. Sockrider welcomes new patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
A native of the Racine area, Dr. Sockrider completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. He completed his Medical/Podiatric Degree at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences in North Chicago, IL. He came to Milwaukee for his Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency at Wheaton St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Sockrider is professionally affiliated with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and the Wisconsin Society of Podiatric Medicine (WSPM).
In his free time Dr. Sockrider enjoys hiking with his wife and dog, golfing, traveling, and mountain biking.
